To the churches in Indiana and Michigan,
During the past several years there has been much consideration among those helping to take the lead among the churches in Indiana and Michigan regarding a burden in the Lord’s recovery for the need to build up a daily habit of reading the ministry publications, in particular the Life-Studies and the Recovery Version with footnotes, so that they would become a part of our constitution.
We thank the Lord for the publication of the ministry books that are available to us, and we would like to continue to stir up every saint’s interest in pursuing the books and to encourage each one of us to enjoy reading the spiritual publications. Speaking in 1984 concerning the publication work, Brother Lee says, “The Lord’s recovery must give much credit to the publication work of Brother Nee...The effect of reading the publications is greater and more solid than the effect of personally hearing a spoken message. The value of the publication work is high and weighty” (CWWL, 1984, vol. 5, p. 212).
We have been blessed with a number of opportunities to blend the churches and to enjoy and develop a taste for the riches of the ministry together. To continue this burden of getting into the Life-Studies and the Recovery Version, we would like once more to invite the saints in the churches in Indiana and Michigan to attend a blending fellowship during the weekend of Saturday, October 31 to the Lord’s Day November 1, 2026 to be held at St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN. Brothers Marty Robert and David Olsen will be joining us to participate in the fellowship.
There will be accommodation for children (6th grade age and lower) during this weekend and we encourage families and their children to attend.
